I would say it's decent place for staying and exploring Santo Domingo. The rooms with balconies, superb terrace, as example.

Welcoming staff, PRIME location near the beach. Great service within 25 km of the airport. Breakfast was superb - lots of meals - scrambled eggs, hot waffles, fresh fruit, pastries and bacon. Having different cool drinks in the juice bar was a very nice touch.
